Wharfdale DVD750 playing MPEG

Hi, could someone tell me if the above player will successfully play a CD burnt with a MPEG movie? I`m taking camcorder input (family stuff) and want to make a movie and burn it to a CD and play it on my DVD750.
Is it possible to do this?
