DAV-S500 Region help

I did the hack display/stop/volume to get to the menu but I hear there is a remote or a physical modification necessary to play region 2 (euro).
Where can I get this remote, can I modify somthing else, how do I crack the case and modify, also is there a plam pilot hack (files)? Thanks.
