Region Hack for Loewe Certos DVD

Does anyone know of anyone that has a region free Certos DVD unit and how they got it to be that way. I've had mine over a year now and i'm still searching for the grail. I'm not sure if it's based on a Phillips machine, but that' what i'm lead to believe.
