Sony MHC ZX70 - Region Free can be done

Anyone managed to regionfree this model yet ?

I have seen a chip for it but it was expensive.

other info found :-
You can Enter Service Mode By
Press Together STOP & ENTER Then Turn Volume
Clockwise.But You cannot Make Multi-region
unless go will get special remote that sony was
supplied by their Sole Distributer.
